Mother's Day

A slightly delayed post about Mother's Day...

I haven't been a big fan of it in previous years. I don't like the implication that the boys can be nice to me on Mother's Day and then hideous for the rest of the year, and it is increasingly commercialised.

But W is so enthusiastic about it this year (the indoctrination of school!) that I am warming slightly to 'Mother's Time Day'. And the cards from the boys are very sweet - first time T has written his name rather than just the first two letters. Just a pity A didn't get the memo about giving me a lie-in and still woke up at 5.30am.
